Postdoctoral Fellow Position in the Mani Laboratory
The Mani Laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Connecticut has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in synthetic chemistry. Prior experience in the rational design of photoactive molecules, such as fluorophores and electron donor–acceptor systems, is strongly preferred. Experience in the photophysical and electrochemical characterization of such systems, including emission and transient absorption spectroscopy, is highly desirable. Additional experience in computational chemistry and thin-film fabrication would be an asset. An interest in molecular quantum information science is especially welcome.
This NSF-funded position is a full-time appointment for two years, with annual renewal. Compensation will follow the postdoctoral salary scale.
Interested applicants should email Dr. Tomoyasu Mani (tomoyasu.mani@uconn.edu) with a CV, the names of three references, and a brief statement of interest. Interviews will be conducted online. The position will remain open until filled.
